You are also welcome to bring your own food & non-alcoholic drinks to Whihala Beach, however no food or drink is permitted on the WhoaZone aqua park.

A Single Splash session and an Add a Splash session each consist of 1 hour in total, this includes a 10-minute Safety Orientation and Rules of Conduct review followed by 50 minutes on the WhoaZone obstacle course. 

An All Day Splash is consecutive Single Splash sessions from park open to park close. You will be required to exit the course after each Single Splash session.

If you arrive late, your time on the WhoaZone obstacle course may be shortened. 

We operate on a first come, first serve basis so we strongly recommend reserving your spot in advance by booking online. Purchases can be made on-site if availability allows. Everyone participating on the aqua park must purchase a ticket.

Whihala Beach is a public beach, tickets are only needed to participate in WhoaZone activities. Visitors who do not plan to participate on the aqua park do not need a ticket.

Prices for the WhoaZone obstacle course are for ages 7 and up are the same for children and adults. 

• For the WhoaZone aqua park, you must be at least 7 years old and 45” in height to participate on the floating obstacle course.

Yes, we require that everyone knows how to swim unassisted and we also require everyone wears a WhoaZone issued USCG certified lifejacket for your safety.

All guests must wear a WhoaZone issued US Coast Guard certified lifejacket.  Available in sizes Child through Adult 3XL, these are mandatory for all WhoaZone participants. If a guest is too small or too large for a WhoaZone lifejacket, they will not be able to participate and a refund will be issued.

You cannot provide your own lifejacket for the WhoaZone aqua park. You CAN provide your own USCG certified lifejacket to wear in the free swimming area, WhoaZone lifejackets are only available during time on the aqua park. 

No, If you are under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete and sign a waiver online in advance of arrival in the child’s name. 

WhoaZone is not responsible for the supervision of children. Lifeguards are on duty to monitor the safety of all WhoaZone guests and are not able to babysit or take responsibility for unaccompanied children.

Whihala Beach offers limited natural shade, however WhoaZone has shaded seating rentals available in person for your convenience.

2 Lounge Chairs & 10′ Umbrella: $30 for 1st 2 hours + $5 additional half hours
2 Lounge Chairs & Privacy Cabana: $40 for 1st 2 hours + $5 additional half hours
10’x10′ Pop Up Canopy: $35 for 1st 2 hours + $5 additional half hours

Yes, every guest participating in any WhoaZone activity MUST sign a waiver. Your waiver is valid for one (1) summer season once filled out. Click here to sign your waiver now!

Safety is of the utmost importance to WhoaZone so we will close when the beach is closed due to inclement weather or when conditions are deemed unsafe due to high winds and/or rough surf. We will work with you to reschedule your session if it is cancelled due to inclement weather.

GREEN – Safe to swim, water open.

YELLOW – Moderate surf conditions, water open.

RED – Extreme surf conditions, water closed.

BLUE – High winds, no umbrellas, tents or kayaks/paddleboards.

WHITE – E.coli advisory, water open.

BLACK – High E.coli levels, water closed. 

The park is cleared of all guests at the end of each Splash. All guests are required to attend the Safety Orientation for each session.

A closed toe style water shoe or sock with a soft sole is permitted on the WhoaZone. 

Aqua socks are available for $2.99 online & in person, based upon availability. WhoaZone aqua socks help you enjoy your splash with more grip & less slip. 

Shoes of any type with a hard bottom or shoes with no back are not permitted.  Management has final approval on any and all footwear allowed on the equipment.

Selfie sticks are NOT allowed on the WhoaZone obstacle courses due to the danger of injuring others as well as possibly damaging the equipment.  GoPro style cameras are allowed on the WhoaZone obstacle courses however, WhoaZone is not responsible for lost or damaged cameras/phones and no one is allowed to dive under the equipment to retrieve it if lost.   BRING AND USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

No, Season Passes / Memberships are not available at WhoaZone Whihala Beach. 

We’ve operated safely in 2021 & 2022 by closely following all state and local guidelines, as well as implementing additional safety protocols. This included reducing the number of participants on the WhoaZone and following any changes made by county, city or state such as social distancing and mask mandates indoors. We will continue to follow necessary guidelines and ensure our guest and team safety is top priority for 2023.
